Attending an exclusive workshop with Per Benjamin, renowned as one of the world’s leading floral designers.
This allowed us to introduce new design trends and techniques from Europe.
Per Benjamin, born in Sweden, is a member of the World Champions in Floral Design (www.life3.net) in Europe.

Jenny Burke is now a committee member of Interflora Australia.
Being an Interflora committee member will enable us to further improve quality and standards for the florist industry in Australia.
This will ultimately help the florist industry and differentiate the florist retailers from competition through major retail chains.

March 2011 - Flowers for the Ballarat Dancesport Festival
jenny burke florist was proud to provide flowers for the 21st Ballarat Dancesport Festival at the Minerdome.
A highlight of the day was Ballarat's Abbey Ross and Joel Conroy, Australian Professional Latin American
finalists and working at The Dance Studio Ballarat,
performing three Latin American dances.
March 2011 - Workshop for the Flowers Association of Victoria
The Victorian Floristry Association invited jenny burke florist to hold a demonstration at the Novotel Forest
Resort to present her unique designs and influenced by European style techniques.
The demonstration was a full success and the florists welcomed the fresh approach of floristry.
More than 40 florists from all around Australia attended the workshops offered during the day.
February 2011 - APACK Demonstration
jenny burke and her team took the opportunity to attend the APAC demonstration in Melbourne with a presentation
from known florists Greg Block and Mark Pampling. We touched base with our supplier to ensure that new innovations
from overseas will be available in our flower shop. Florists from all around Australia attended the evening.
January 2011 - Ballarat Brides Wedding Expo
Like in the previous years jenny burke florist exclusively offered professional advise to brides at the Ballarat
Wedding Expo - the most significant Wedding expo in the region.
We also provided the flowers for all fashion parades at the Wedding Expo and all flowers to the Ballarat Mercure
Hotel wedding venue.
